| This beautiful waterfall is just a short walk from the cabin. |
If you are looking for a site in the mountains of western North Carolina that is in a secluded location and also
close to natural attractions and cultural offerings, you have found it! And, to top it off, we are dog friendly! Creekside
Cabin is nestled in a cove at the foot of Chestnut Mountain just ten minutes from the quaint college town of Mars Hill and
thirty minutes from Asheville's many cultural offerings. Within an hours' drive are many natural attractions:
Grandfather Mountain, Chimney Rock, Mt. Mitchell, the Appalachian Trail, the Blue Ridge Parkway. But, just minutes from
the cabin are beautiful trails on the property for you to hike to our own waterfall, enjoying the flora along the way.
You can even bring your own fishing pole to drop a line in the pond in the field outside the cabin's front door. In
the winter, we are a short drive from the ski area at Wolf Laurel. In the spring, summer, or fall, besides the major
natural attractions, opportunities for rafting on the French Broad River, enjoying therapeutic hot springs, horseback riding,
fishing, and hiking are also close by.
