Our pet-friendly cabin in the beautiful western North Carolina mountains is easily reached from Asheville. We look forward to having you stay with us when you are in the area. Here are directions from Exit #9 on I-26 at a point which is 9 miles south of the Tennessee state line and 15 miles north of the Asheville city limits.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS
From I 26 (Hwy 19/23), take Exit #9 toward Burnsville  & stay on Hwy 19 East for 2.2 miles.

Turn right on Crooked Creek Road (between 2 churches).  In case the sign is not there, Crooked Creek Road will be shortly after New Grace Baptist Church which is a white building on the right side of the road AND just before Middle Fork Baptist Church which is a red brick building on the right side of the road just after the intersection.

Stay on Crooked Creek Road for 2 miles.

Bear right (at Paint Gap Church) as the road becomes Clyde Brown Road.  Clyde Brown Road ends after about 1/2 mile at a stop sign.

At stop sign, turn left onto Paint Fork Rd for ¼ mile to the first right (gravel road just after the red barn) onto Joe Brown Road. Continue on Joe Brown for a few hundred yards.  (Cabin will be on your right across the field at the driveway with the mailbox for 182)

Go up the paved driveway on right (at mailbox for 210) to the house for check in with the Stevensons.

PLEASE NOTE that maps available through the Internet refer to Crooked Creek Rd as Burkett Creek and that the section of I-26 from Exit #9 north to the state line of Tennessee opened in Summer 2003 so may not be on the map yet.
