Living in the arts-rich Madison County North Carolina has inspired Mike to move up a step from woodworking
as a 30-year hobby to woodworking as a side business. Mike is currently focusing primarily
on the Arts and Crafts style. His designs for frames, accent pieces and lighting reflect that theme.
In keeping with the Arts and Crafts tradition, his products are handcrafted in quartersawn white oak or
other domestic hardwood, assembled using traditional joinery, and finished in stains appropriate to the period.
